At home on the farm

We spend a lot of time outdoors!

Fun for the whole family

Located in Elkins, AR, our farm covers 143 acres of pasture and woodland. Jim Isbell runs the farm with help from his wife Karen and two small children, Hunter and Molly, who chase butterflies and gather eggs. Jim and Karen started the farm so they could feed their family fresh, all-natural meat and eggs.

Jim and Karen both have ‘day jobs,’ which is why they haven’t started a blog yet to document all the funny stuff that happens on the farm. Maybe someday…

Happy, healthy animals

We chose heritage breeds for our farm because we wanted our animals to live a good, healthy lives outdoors without too much human intervention. And it’s worked! Our vet bills are minimal, while we enjoy a new generation of calves, chicks, and poults every spring.
