Where’s the beef?
We’ve just received beef from two steers, and we’re offering “first dibs” to our waiting list. Meanwhile, we’re hoping to book processsing appointments for spring and fall. This is a challenging process, because Covid-19 has really changed farming and increased demand for our local processors. So far, the processors we’ve contacted are all booked through 2022.
We’ll update this page and email our waiting list if anything changes in the meantime.
What’s in the box?
Each box includes 20 lbs of USDA-certified steaks, roasts, and ground beef from a 100% pasture-raised and finished steer. Our beef is always dry aged for at least 14 days.
Our next box will contain a balanced mix of grill-friendly options. Cuts break down as follows: 45% ground beef, 25% roasts and briskets, 20-25% steaks, and up to 10% soup and stew cuts. (Looking for our pastured pork sampler? Click here

Who are we?
Heritage Acres of Arkansas is a small, family-run farm in Elkins. We sell grass-fed beef direct to our family and friends, and now we’re adding a growing number of customers.
Why grass-fed beef?
Our cattle are grass-fed and finished, which means they eat grass all their lives, from birth to processing. Grass-fed beef has more omega-3 fats, is leaner, and is just generally healthier than traditional, factory-farmed beef.
But what does it taste like?
Opinions vary, but most people who have tried grass-fed beef say it’s distinctly flavorful and, when cooked correctly, very juicy and tender. We certainly think so.

What about payment and delivery?
Our 20-lb grass-fed beef sampler currently costs $7.25/lb plus tax. Delivery is free in Northwest Arkansas. (If you’re outside NWA, we can ship your sampler through Federal Express in a lightweight, durable cooler. Ask us for a price quote.)
